What companies can RoleFinder monitor?
Most companies with a public career site. Tech companies, startups, enterprises—if they post jobs online, RoleFinder can track them. You provide the target list during setup.
Can I update my target companies or criteria later?
Absolutely. Just email me with updates and I’ll adjust your profile. Changes take effect on the next daily run.
What if I find a job and want to pause?
Email me and I’ll pause your account immediately. No long-term contracts—you can stop anytime.
Is there a self-hosted option?
Yes! RoleFinder is open source and you can run it yourself if you’re technical. The managed service is for folks who want it done for them without the setup and ongoing maintenance.
How accurate is the AI matching?
RoleFinder uses Claude Sonnet 4.5 (Anthropic’s flagship model) to evaluate jobs. In my own use, it’s >90% accurate at identifying excellent matches and filtering out obvious mismatches. You’ll still review final candidates yourself—RoleFinder just saves you hours of manual filtering.
What happens if the system goes down?
I monitor uptime and get alerts if anything breaks. Typical SLA is 99%+ uptime with issues resolved within 24 hours. If you miss a day due to downtime, I’ll run a backfill for that period.
