Everyone’s talking about AI. Fewer are actually shipping it.
Over the past year, I helped integrate generative AI into a complex cybersecurity lab environment used by thousands of students across dozens of courses in offensive operations and digital forensics. The goal wasn’t just novelty — it was to give cybersecurity professionals in high-stakes scenarios real-time, context-aware learning tools while keeping the system secure, reliable, and scalable.
This meant vendor contract negotiations, working across engineering and operations teams, and balancing the student experience with abuse and cost mitigation.
It wasn’t "just plug in ChatGPT." It was product thinking, systems design, and user trust — all at once.
I’m excited to bring that same balance of ambition and pragmatism to my next role.
What challenges have you run into shipping AI features in regulated or high-stakes environments? I’d love to compare notes.
