The Long Tail of Customer Service

I’ve been an amateur chef for decades now, using good knives since that Culinary Institute of America knife course.

I participated in the first Kickstarter for a Misen knife almost 10 years ago, and have been very happy with my 8" Chef’s Knife. It’s among my top 3 daily-use knives.

The handle developed a crack recently. I emailed the company, they asked some basic questions, and they sent a replacement. Honoring those first Kickstarters is a clear sign of respect for the long tail of customer support and loyalty. Thank you, Allie.
